Globalstar

This map displays the coverage provided by the Globalstar satellite phone system. The map legend describes the areas of primary coverage and the areas they may still receive service, although the signal strength may be weaker.

Globalstar uses the concept of home calling areas. Users receive a cheaper calling rate for calls within their home calling area. Calls made to phones outside a user's home calling area are considered "Roaming",  and are charged a different roaming rate. The rate described in the Globalstar satellite phone service plans apply  to the USA  Home Service Area only. Roaming rates apply when calls are made outside of the United States and Caribbean.
